Some of the lyrics of this dripping slop of human waste spewed "Yeah, while there living up on Wall Street in that New York City town...Here in the real world their shuttin' Detroit down." This plays to the lowest common denominator of emotional class envy. Hannity and Hugo Chavez in chaps, should have more integrity than to spew this vile excuse for art.
Let's look at the real world, that Che Yokem claims to represent. Detroit has already received bail-out funds several time and they still can't manage their way out of the business garbage bag where their mismanagement has trapped them. The UAW has priced the U.S. car industry into irrelevance. U.S. car regulation has put manufacturing into corners that forces them to produce cars where they lose money. So where is the outrage at at the Unions or regulation I dare say that John Rich (also known as Chavez in a cowboy hat and Che yokem) would have difficulty rhyming with union or pronouncing, or spelling "regulation."
Hannity and the yutz should also pay some attention to the fact the a sizable percentage of US car manufacturing employees work for properly managed Asian car producers, or Ford, which seems to be riding out the storm. It is essential that we don't resort to protectionism, and emotional mindlessness, like this song does. Emotional populist outrage doesn't help us a country, defending one industry is short sighted, especially while other industries are stuggling.
Mr. Hannity, if you claim to be Conservative, think next time before you promote the next version of a lyrical "The Little Red Book." Thinking instead of feeling would help your integrity and the Conservative cause.
